Crisis Care

Crisis Care deals with INDUCTION: i.e. handling enquiries, screening, intake, assessment, orientation and admission to the residential programmes () and CRISIS AND HOTLINE COUNSELLING i.e. telephone or face-to-face counselling for male teenagers, substance abusers and their family members.

Outreach

Both secular and Christian counselling is offered to inmates of the Drug Rehabilitation Centres and prisons. It also serves as a point of referral to Teen Challenge or other Halfway Houses.

Youthlink-A Streetwise Programme

This programme is coordinated by the National Youth Council (NYC) for minors involved with street gangs, but not yet indicted by the Juvenile Court. Referrals are made by the Secret Societies Branch of the CID; Probation Officers from MCD, as well as schools, agencies and families.

Bukit Batok Hostel-A Programme for Probationers

This is a community-based rehabilitation programme targetted at young offenders. Positive traits like self-discipline, social skills. morality, as well as training in life skills and positive leadership are actively emphasised at the hostel.
